Happy Birthday Dad

Today would have been my dad's 77th birthday. This photo was taken on his last birthday, 5 years ago. He passed away just before Christmas that year. Days like today I seem to find myself spending a lot of time reflecting. In the grand scheme of things, 5 years isn't very long. But in that time, my two oldest boys have grown so much and we've had another son that was never able to meet his Grandpa. And I also think about how, when all else failed, a nice bottle of Crown Royal fit the bill quite nicely as a birthday or Father's Day gift. Cheers Dad.
