Christmas goodies

I've been fighting a ridiculous headache for days now. It has been so bad this morning that I've done absolutely nothing. I've popped a Tylenol 3 and a muscle relaxer and spent the morning on the couch with an icepack moving from my head to neck, etc. It's finally dulling down a bit.
I'd like to get some scrapbooking done today, but I don't know if that will happen. I've gotten so much fun stuff this week that I'm just itching to play.
My Winter Weather kit from Noel Mignon came on Thursday and it is packed to the brim. It sold out in just a few hours, but I was determined and managed to snag one right after they went up for sale.

Noel also sent my prize from her crop ... 18 pieces of American Crafts patterned paper (8 of which are from the Christmas line), 2 packages of Thickers and some other embellishements. Wowsers.
I also slipped into London yesterday and managed to hit both Scrapbook Memories and Michaels.
I had intended just to exchange an album at Scrapbook Memories but of course that didn't happen. I came home with a buncha Christmas stuff and a few new albums. I'm trying out the 3-ring binders as opposed to the post bound albums. My layouts seem to be getting thicker and thicker and after filling up these new albums, I can see that they work so much better. I missed the sale that Jodie had on Friday, but to be quite honest, that's all right. It sounds like it was crazy busy and I hate fighting a crowd.
I was pretty good at Michaels. I bought another Martha Stewart border punch ... the one with the stars ... and a brayer. I just can't seem to get a nice clear stamped image when I use a larger stamp and am hoping that this will solve my problem.
The other fun thing that happened this week was a wonderful package from Jeanne filled with all sorts of East Coast goodies ... ribbon candy, a Seagull Pewter ornament, books, cds, and a Nova Scotia tartan glass ball. Such a treat. I haven't cracked open the candy just yet, but I don't think I can wait much longer! Love that ribbon candy.

Haha. You gotta be quick!
Nothing so far. But the mail is not my friend lately. One of Noel's packages took over 3 weeks to arrive. Can you imagine how bad it will be once Christmas packages really get going?
