Some Christmas scrappin'

I snuck up to my scrapbook room the other night to do a couple of quick layouts. Although I've still not scrapped most of my photos from last Christmas, I worked on some new ones. And despite the PILE of new Christmas papers, I ended up using stash from last year and the year before. Oh well. If felt pretty good to use those things I had been holding onto.

This layout uses Basic Grey Fruitcake papers, a Magistical Memories chipboard tree and a 7 Gypsies sticker. A few of the newer items I used were Making Memories letter stickers & brad, and some K & Co. chipboard. The Santa is from the front of one of the little Christmas cards I screwed up while writing inside this year. I cut off the front and set it aside to use for something else and when I was putting this together, I thought it was just perfect.

I inked my tree with Stampin' Up! Old Olive ink, heat embossed swirls with Colorbox red ink and clear embossing powder (Autumn Leaves stamp) and then outlined the edges with Distress Stickles. The star is from Petaloo.

Most of the products for this layout came from last Christmas' Cupcake Scrapshop kit. The cute papers were perfect with Molly's photo. I added in a Melissa Frances glittered chipboard snowflake, a K & Co. metal art clip, some Doodlebug jewels, Making Memories small letter stickers and American Crafts vinyl thickers.
This Martha Stewart edge punch is one of my new faves.
Now to dig into some of my new stuff!
