Lookie what came ...

... today!

This is what was inside it (in case you were wondering why I would be so excited).
Evidently, I can only get published if Dave is in the photo. I guess I should do more layouts of him.
I had a bit of a busy weekend here. For the first time in a year, I was able to go to an all day crop. It was nice to sit and scrap without constant interruptions. A quick run to the LSS (because the vendors didn't come through this year), a stop at Starbucks, some chicken chili, some fun gals (hey Carol & Marcia) and it was a gooood day. The weather was a little nasty when we got out of there and my mother (who had been babysitting) almost had to stay over. But she made it home without incident. Like I said ... a good day.
I'm such a slow scrapper that I'm amazed I finished anything at all. When I left, my tally was up to 4 layouts. But once I got home, I had to fiddle with 3 of the layouts and completely tear apart the fourth. There's definately something wrong with me.
One of the layouts I worked on was for the Create My Keepsake GDT entry this month. It's been ages since I've applied for a design team or guest design team spot but I've been stalking the site for awhile now, and when I saw that the challenge was to use distressing, I just couldn't resist. I'm such a fan of distressing right now. I just can't leave things alone. The have to be ripped or crumpled or sat on or driven over or given to the dog to chew on. You get the idea.
Bobasaurus in his Wife Beater shirt.
Ranger Distress Stickles are on everything I do lately.

Fun little vintage accents.
Carol wondered what I was going to do with the face die cut. This is it. I didn't drive over it like I said I would.
And another one just for fun. I've done this photo in a mini already, but I just had to scrap it again. Seriously ... what's more cute than a little wet pup?
The railroad ticket is actually a download from Fairy Davis. They have such fun vintage stuf and it's FREE! Mama loves the free stuff.
I started back on Weight Watchers today. I didn't actually go for the meeting because when I checked the website to see if the meeting was still at the same place, I saw that it had moved to 10am from noon. So I missed it. But I followed my points and weighed myself and am saving myself some dough. I want to lose the 15lbs that crept back on in the last year and maybe an extra 5. There. I said it. Y'all can beat me with a wet whole grain noodle if I fall off the wagon.
And just when I've started making recipes from the Pioneer Woman's website. Definately not low cal. I'll have to stay away from there for a few months.
Finally, this made me get weepy. Good stuff.
